Omnics Announces Additions to Board of Advisors

Former Flex President Caroline Dowling, former Google and Amazon VP of Supply Chain Mark Randall and former Dyson CEO and COO Jim Rowan join Advisory Board of Digital Supply Chain Platform and Solutions company, Omnics.

San Diego, CA – Omnics, a provider of digital supply chain planning and execution solutions, announced today that Caroline Dowling, Mark Randall and Jim Rowan have joined Omnics Advisory Board.

These three additions to Omnics’ advisory board have a wealth of experience in Supply Chain and bring together expertise from the worlds of OEM, EMS, Logistics and Fulfillment. Having all sides of the supply chain covered on the board along with experience at some of  the world’s largest and most envied companies is a huge boon to Omnics and will help ensure that the Omnics offering continues to reflect the complex and rapidly changing needs of the market.

Caroline is a highly experienced business leader with extensive global knowledge in the technology sector, specifically electronic, technical and logistics services. Caroline was the Business Group President of Flex, an industry-leading, Fortune Global 500 company with operations in 30 countries. In this role, she led the Telecommunications, Enterprise Compute, Networking and Cloud Data Centre and was also responsible for managing the Global Services Division, supporting complex supply chains. Caroline previously served as a non-executive director of the Irish Industrial Development Agency. She currently serves on the Board of DCC PLC, a FTSE 50 company operating four divisions LPG, Retail & Oil, Technology & Healthcare and on the Board of IMI PLC, a FTSE 250 Company providing specialist engineering solutions across 3 divisions in Hydronic, Critical & Precision, for heavy industry, medical & healthcare, life sciences and commercial solutions.

Mark is an accomplished executive with 29 years of experience in leading strategy, development, finance, and operations at organizations across the technology sector. He has extensive experience with fast scaling startups with disruptive business models. Previously, Mark was heading the hardware supply chain and operations at Snap before which he was the CEO of Katerra, a technology-based construction startup. Mark has also held senior executive roles at Google and Amazon. He currently serves on the board of KlearNow and is an Entrepreneur in Residence and Advisor at Fred Kiesner Center for Entrepreneurship.

Jim has over 25 years of experience bringing great products to market. As Ex-CEO of Dyson, he spearheaded the complex transition to a digitally enabled global technology organization with over $5B revenue. He oversaw key aspects of Research, Design and Development as well as the operational functions, ranging from supply chain to logistics, planning and manufacturing at Dyson. Prior to Dyson, Jim was COO at Research In Motion (BlackBerry) and successfully grew BlackBerry into the leading Smartphone company of that time with sales in excess of $20bn. Before Blackberry, Jim was the Executive Vice President of Global Operations at Celestica, a leading electronics manufacturing services provider.
