White Horse Laboratories has expanded footprint in Shenzhen

Shenzhen, China. – Complementing White Horse Laboratories’ main test lab in Shenzhen, the electronic testing and quality control management specialist opened another test lab in the Futian Free Trade Zone (FTZ) on Monday, August 2. The branch provides significant capacity expansion and improved turnaround times.

 

decfebfbSince Monday, August 2, White Horse Laboratories has had another test lab in Shenzhen, in the Futian district. The facility is specifically set up for quality control of products traded outside of China. “With the new facility, we are taking another important step in reducing lead times, and the resulting costs, incurred when importing product to test. Import time drops from days to hours,” states founder and Managing Director Mark Rinehart. “It is a perfect complement to our main lab in Shenzhen and our recently upgraded Hong Kong facility. In addition to our expertise in electronic quality control, our customers benefit from the unique geographic location of our testing facilities. It greatly simplifies the consistent enforcement of a fast and high-quality supply chain for them.”

 

The Futian facility is headed by Zhang Xiaoqin, an experienced member of White Horse Laboratories’ leadership team. From the moment the doors opened, she and her team ensure that the testing procedures can be carried out reliably, quickly and in accordance with White Horse Laboratories’ stringent quality and process specifications. The technical capabilities of the FTZ test lab offers for external visual inspection (EVI), digital program testing (DPT), JTAG on FPGA and PLD devices, and repackaging.
