Minneapolis, MN – The SMTA is proud to announce the Next Gen 10 award recipients for 2026. SMTA’s Next Gen 10 program recognizes young leaders who are shaping the future of electronics manufacturing through technical innovation, leadership, and service to the industry. By highlighting talent early in their careers, the program helps showcase the next generation of experts who will drive continued advancement across the global electronics ecosystem.
This year, the recipients of the Next Gen 10 award are:

“These individuals have distinguished themselves through their technical expertise, leadership, and dedication to advancing the industry,” said Sutharshan Suppiramaniam, chair of the SMTA Students and Young Professionals (SYP) Committee. “Their accomplishments at this stage of their careers are already helping shape the future of electronics manufacturing.”
Winners will be recognized and receive their awards during a ceremony this October 25-29, 2026 at SMTA International in Rosemont, IL, USA.
