Dr. Markus Ernst is the new Managing Director of HANZA BMK Group GmbH

Augsburg – HANZA BMK sets new course for the future: As of June 1st, the company has appointed Dr. Markus Ernst as its new Managing Director. His appointment underlines the strategic development following the merger with the Swedish HANZA AB.

With fresh leadership momentum, HANZA BMK is strengthening its role as a professional and reliable partner for electronics services. With this step, the company is sending a clear signal for sustainable corporate development and the consistent implementation of its future strategy. Under the leadership of Dr. Markus Ernst, the EMS provider aims to further strengthen its market position as part of the HANZA Group and tap into new potential thanks to an expanded service portfolio in the fields of mechanics and assembly.

Dr. Markus Ernst has many years of leadership experience in companies within the electronics and industrial sectors. After earning his doctorate at Graz University of Technology in the field of software optimization for mechatronic systems for MAGNA Powertrain, he held, among other roles, the position of Head of Process Verticals & Sales Central and Eastern Europe at Siemens. Before joining HANZA BMK, he successfully led the Electronics Manufacturing division of HAINZL Industriesysteme in Linz, Austria, as Managing Director.
