Furth im Wald – DELTEC continues to advance its strategic positioning and is evolving into an international corporate network. Effective June 15, 2026, owner Carsten Ellermeier has acquired Cicor Digital Tunisie S.U.A.R.L, headquartered in Borj Cedria, Tunisia, with around one hundred employees.
With the integration of the Tunisian site, DELTEC is purposefully expanding its range of services beyond traditional PCB assembly and taking the next step in building a high performance, internationally positioned EMS network with end-to-end value creation.
The focus is on stronger vertical integration across the entire value chain:
- Cable assembly
- Plastic injection molding
- Module and product manufacturing
DELTEC is thus consistently transforming from an electronics manufacturer into a comprehensive system and solutions provider – in line with its guiding principle: “From Concept to Customer.”
The new international structure offers customers clear advantages:
- Greater supply reliability in an increasingly strained global supply chain environment
- Access to expanded manufacturing capacities within the network
- Improved scalability of projects – from small series to high-volume production
In addition, the integration opens up opportunities for new, cost-efficient project models. Especially for orders involving cost-intensive components such as cables, housings, or simple connectors, DELTEC will be able to operate much more flexibly in the future.
There are also clear benefits for the main site in Furth im Wald: electronics produced there can be complemented by components from Tunisia—efficiently, seamlessly, and from a single source.
The international competitive landscape places high demands on companies in the electronics industry—across the entire value chain from development to aftersales. This strategic expansion further strengthens DELTEC in this environment.
“Our customers are under significant pressure to remain internationally competitive— across all process steps. With this acquisition, we are even better positioned to support them reliably—from small series to industrial high-volume production,” explains Carsten Ellermeier, CEO and owner.
