White Horse Laboratories announces Regional Support for Singapore
Singapore – White Horse Laboratories, the electronic testing and quality control management specialist, announced the opening of a customer support and development office in Singapore, headed by Regional Account Manager Simon Yang.
“The days of buyers having a healthy logistics system and the flexibility to choose from multiple sources of supply, even in times of shortage, just don’t exist right now,” says Mark A. Rinehart, founder, and CEO of White Horse Laboratories. “Tariffs, the pandemic, and the relative failure of global just-in-time logistics have compounded mounting cost pressures into a “cost + risk = regionalization equation”. Recent geopolitical uncertainty has further accelerated the regionalization of key manufacturing and distribution capabilities. We are addressing this trend by expanding local support and development offices.”
Simon Yang, the head of White Horse Laboratories’ Singapore regional office, brings with him a degree in electronics engineering and several years of experience as a sales engineer in electrical test. Just the right qualifications to support local customers in all aspects of component quality assurance. “I am very excited about my role as Regional Account Manager in Singapore. Good quality and trusting business relationships are the foundation of a stable supply chain, and this is a company based on trust,” says Simon Yang. “With decades of know-how right on the pulse of electronic manufacturing, White Horse Laboratories brings Singapore a valuable range of services coupled with a global network that has not existed locally in this form before.”
