Rene Aelvoet, Vice President Product Operations, made the announcement: “We are pleased to recognize the 2024 Supplier Excellence Award winners, for their outstanding performance: KOA, Bourns, Yageo, Taiyo Yuden, Vishay and TDK.”
The Global Operations Excellence Award, now in its 14th year, recognizes the supplier who earns the award in all three TTI regions – Americas, Europe and Asia, and has the highest total score globally. KOA has earned the Global Operations Excellence award for the second year in a row.
Aelvoet praised KOA as an industry leader, highlighting their unwavering commitment to quality and continuous improvement. “It is wonderful to see the KOA team’s dedication recognized with this esteemed award for the second consecutive year,” he stated. “On behalf of the TTI team, we sincerely appreciate the exceptional global support KOA employees have provided once again. “KOA has once again earned both the Best Quality Award as well as the Diamond Award for the highest overall point achievement for the Americas region.
KOA and Bourns have earned the Platinum level award for achieving the highest scores across numerous quality and operational measurements. Supplier Excellence Award winners Yageo, Taiyo Yuden, Vishay and TDK will be recognized for their dedication and commitment to operational excellence.
The TTI Supplier Excellence program focuses on quality measurements that include on-time delivery, receiving quality, customer-reported quality, administrative quality, operations, business systems, as well as performance measurements such as sales and management support.
