TT Electronics Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Mexico

New state-of-the-art facility adds capacity and electronics manufacturing solutions capability in Mexicali.

WOKING, UK – TT Electronics, a leading provider of global manufacturing solutions and engineered technologies, proudly announces the grand opening of its newest manufacturing facility located in Mexicali, Mexico. This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth and commitment to serving customers worldwide.

The new facility, spanning 75,000 square feet, is equipped with the latest technology and manufacturing capabilities to meet the increasing demand for electronics manufacturing solutions in the North America region. Situated in a prime location next to the company’s 40-year established operation manufacturing sensor technologies, the multi-million-pound investment expands capabilities in the Americas, creates job opportunities and fosters economic development within the local community.

The inauguration ceremony held earlier this year was attended by key business stakeholders, local government officials, industry partners, and members of the local community. Special guests included the Mexicali City Mayor, Norma Bustamante.

The new facility will provide fully integrated electronics manufacturing solutions with capacity for up to six high-speed SMT lines, product integration and assembly.

TT Electronics is an established employer in Mexico with over 1200 employees across two locations – Mexicali and Juarez. The new facility in Mexicali represents a significant expansion of footprint and capability for North America. The company operates in 26 locations worldwide.
