Since establishing its own production facility in Györ / Hungary, Melecs has already multiplied its production capacity and number of employees at the site. This Monday (20th of October), the electronics manufacturing services provider (E2MS) with Austrian roots reached a special milestone and celebrated its 15th anniversary!
In the past decade and a half, Melecs Györ has grown from an initial team of a few people to a large company. In the plant, which is currently operating at full capacity, 650 employees manufacture more than 30 million products per year, for both the domestic and international markets. Today, the products can be found worldwide, from the automotive industry to household electronics and various industrial equipment. Following the last expansion in the year 2023, the production area has been increased from its original size of 2,700 m² to now 6.500 m².

Besides its expertise in electronics development and the state-of-the-art laboratory with extensive testing capabilities, Melecs Györ has also continuously expanded the necessary expertise in the areas of industrialization, quality, logistics, purchasing, and operation, to be able to take on overall responsibility for projects independently and thus become a full-service contractor. In the coming years, the goal of the company is to further strengthen its presence in the international market, while remaining true to its core values of innovation, responsible operation, and mutual respect.
