Guest Speakers: Nikita Mishra & Tom Jackson, Alcon
August 21, 2025
As smart manufacturing and connected supply chains evolve, so do the risks. This webinar will explore Security by Design strategies to address emerging vulnerabilities in modern manufacturing environments. Presented by experts from Alcon, this session will delve into layered security approaches and how they can be practically implemented across electronic manufacturing systems.
Key Topics
The speakers will highlight real-world applications and may explore one or more of the following advanced cybersecurity strategies:
- Cryptographic authentication and validation of electronic components and data
- Secure enclaves and fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) for safeguarding sensitive operations
- Blockchain for traceability across vendors and product releases
- Extending TPM concepts to parts and sub-assemblies
These insights are especially relevant to stakeholders seeking to build resilience into their manufacturing operations from the ground up.
