High Power Density DSF Series SuperCaps from Cornell Dubilier in Stock at TTI

Fort Worth, Texas – TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, has stock for immediate shipment of the DSF Series High-Voltage Supercapacitors from Cornell Dubilier. The DSF series is rated for 3 WVDC or 6 WVDC, compared to typical supercapacitors, which have a single device rating of 2.5 – 2.7 WVDC. The higher rated operating voltage results in greater energy densities, which leads to space savings. The DSF Series also has high current handling up to 20 amps.

Like other supercapacitors, the DSF Series offers far greater capacity than conventional electrolytics. The DSF Series has an extremely low self-discharge rate, low ESR and ultra-fast charging. Market segments include green energy, backup power, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and small electric vehicles. Capacitance values range from 1.5 Farads to 600 Farads and operating temperature rating is -40°C to +85°C (-40°C to 65°C at 3.0 WVDC). The operating life of the DSF is 10 years with 500,000 cycles. It has four lead configurations: radial, two-pin snap-in, four-pin snap-in and dual pack radial.
