Aimtron Secures Rs 3.8 Cr European Order, Marks Entry Into EU Market

Aimtron Electronics, an India-based electronics system design and manufacturing company, has secured its first European box-build order from a Europe-headquartered original equipment manufacturer (OEM) with manufacturing operations in Spain, the company announced on 10 February.

The initial order, valued at about Rs 3.8 crore, is for a high-value box-build solution intended for European automotive and industrial end-markets. The company described the order as strategically significant, noting that it marks Aimtron’s entry into the European market and demonstrates its capability to meet stringent regional quality, safety and compliance standards.

Aimtron said discussions with the customer and visibility on follow-on programmes indicate that revenue from the engagement could potentially scale to three to four times the current order size in FY27.

The development comes amid expectations that the proposed India–Europe Free Trade Agreement could improve trade flows, enhance the competitiveness of Indian manufacturers and support supply-chain diversification among European OEMs.

Commenting on the order, Sneh Shah, Director at Aimtron Electronics, said that serving European automotive customers requires strong process discipline, quality governance and execution consistency. He added that the engagement reflects the company’s investments in capabilities such as box-build, traceability and programme management, while providing an opportunity to scale across European end-markets.

The company said that the order follows its recent expansion in North America through the acquisition of a US-based ESDM and original design manufacturing firm, a move aimed at strengthening engineering capabilities and deepening engagement with global OEM customers.

According to Aimtron, these initiatives form part of its broader strategy to expand across key international markets while leveraging India as its manufacturing base.
