Lead Times on the Rise, Signs of Recovery in Sight
Anthony Alberga, Corporate Vice President, Future Electronics:
“Lead times have been—and continue to be—on the rise across many technology segments. While the overall environment remains challenging, we are seeing encouraging signs of recovery in several areas, most notably, memory products, small‑signal and bipolar devices, and low‑voltage MOSFETs. We anticipate that additional technologies, including high‑voltage MOSFETs and high‑capacitance MLCCs, will follow this increased lead time trend.
As the market continues to shift and tighten, we expect other technologies to fall under similar constraints. Accelerated inventory depletion—within both distribution channels and at end customers—combined with limited order visibility, is increasing the risk of undersupply across many critical product categories beyond those already noted.
To ensure supply security, it is essential that we receive accurate demand signals from our customers. We remain dedicated to delivering innovative, industry‑leading supply‑chain programs that help mitigate future disruptions. We welcome the opportunity to review these solutions with you at your convenience. “
