Publisher Eric Miscoll has over 20 years of electronics manufacturing industry experience as a researcher, consultant, and senior manager. Following a career in banking and psychology, Eric’s career in EMS began in 1998 as Senior Consultant and Chief Operating Officer of Technology Forecasters, Inc., the leading strategic consulting market research firm focused solely on the outsourced electronics manufacturing industry.
Eric’s subsequent experience includes several years with Texas Prototypes as VP/GM of its PCB Design and Assembly division, and Managing Principal of Charlie Barnhart & Associates, supporting OEM and EMS clients with their outsourcing engagements.
Jennifer Read comes with another set of business analyst and editorial skills. She was an Editor and writer of countless industry articles covering supply chain and the EMS industry from the mid-1980s. She was trained as an Attorney and practiced Law in Colorado; she served as director of marketing communications at Avnet Electronics Marketing; and joined Eric at Technology Forecasters and Charlie Barnhart & Associates as interviewer, co- writer and editor of reports such as Beyond Outsourcing, EMS Industry in South America, and Next Horizons in Outsourcing.
