Why is the Quarterly Forum needed ? With the phenomenal growth rate of the electronics manufacturing industry, TFI recognized the necessity for frequent analyses of markets and trends for those companies that compete in this industry. TFI experts present and analyze industry information months before industry publications, financial institutions, and wire services-which typically use information originated by TFI-issue their updates. Firms within or servicing the electronics manufacturing industry need to be prepared for future industry shifts. Members need the in depth analysis and enjoy the opportunity to discuss with TFI experts pressing issues within the industry. Finally, the quarterly format allows TFI to bring its resources in mergers and acquisitions, manufacturing, strategic planning, marketing, research and other disciplines to Forum members. Members, in turn, can identify best practices against which to benchmark their respective businesses.

Why is the Quarterly Forum by membership only? 1. Member companies are asked to provide confidential and proprietary information about their firms, which is shared only as aggregate data with other members through TFI assessments and papers. Because Quarterly Forum members give this information in confidence, the data received are far more detailed and timely than in any other existing format, an advantage that allows TFI to generate the highest quality assessments to be found anywhere in the industry.
2. Forum members direct which topics TFI experts will research and assess. This assures our members get the information that they feel is critical to conducting their businesses and in planning for the future. Membership dues are the sole support for the research, assessments, and papers TFI generates, adding tremendous value found nowhere else.
