Making QUALITY Visible:
CASE STUDY shows how an electronics manufacturer added new business thanks to improved quality software
Abstract
The topic of visibility, tracking, and dashboards is on everyones mind these days as all manufacturers are searching for ways to reduce costs and improve business performance. One of the obvious ways to improve business is to reduce waste created by poor visibility of accurate quality data. Consider these questions: Without real time visibility of quality levels and WIP at each step in your process, coupled with interactive data drill down capability to immediately isolate the root cause of quality issues, how can your engineering talent be focused on solving the right problems? Or if you are an EMS company, how can you build up confidence in the eyes of your customer that you are equipped to help them continuously improve the quality and delivery of their products? In this webinar we will hear from USR Electronic Systems, an international EMS company serving the medical, security and data communications electronics markets, tell their story. In 2008 USR transformed their quality management system with new technology that has retained key customers, grown their business and reduced cost significantly in their manufacturing process, putting them in a great position for growing success in 2009. Not a bad place to be in the current economic climate.
