Philip has been working in the electronics supply chain for more than 25 years. Having started his career as a designer, Philip was involved in production, procurement, outsourcing, sales and marketing for several electronics companies before becoming a journalist in 1993. Since then Philip has written for a number of print and internet journals and is currently editor-in-chief of EMSNow. 

 

Bruce Isbell:
Senior Strategic Marketing Manager, Valor Computerized Systems

Bruce Isbell has worked hands on in the electronics manufacturing industry for 27 years. His experience on the shop floor as a process engineer spans across low volume complex boards for the military at Texas Instruments, to very high volume boards for telecommunications at Motorola. For the past 11 years Mr. Isbell has utilized his manufacturing experience to refocused his career to help others achieve high productivity by providing software solutions to electronics manufactures. Mr. Isbell joined Valor in 1999 and is now the Sr. Strategic Marketing Manager on the corporate marketing team.


Don Soracco:
Mack Technologies
:

Don Soracco of Mack Technologies, has worked in the electronics manufacturing services industry for 17 years. His experience started supporting surface mount production lines, including SMT programming for new product introduction. While in the support role Don was responsible for the evolution of manual SMT programming and process development to automated CAM systems such as Valor. Through the years Don's role expanded to all areas of board level printed circuit board assembly. The board technology has ranged from low complexity to high complexity assemblies. In Don's current role he is responsible for an engineering group that includes process engineering, product engineering, documentation control and equipment maintenance.
