Farnell element14 launches industry first business rewards programme for customers

Aug 21, 2012

Farnell element14, the leading multi-channel electronics distributor and an operating business of Premier Farnell plc (LON: PFL) in Europe, has introduced "The Power Circuit" a new business rewards programme for its customers.

Open to existing account-holding customers, "The Power Circuit"  provides rewards up to the value of £500 (500€/700CHF) that can be converted into Farnell element14 vouchers, Red Letter Days experiences (Smartbox or Coolcadeau in Germany and France), charity donations, or a donation to support David Stone, one of the company's sponsored para-athletes.

The programme also offers participating businesses exclusive promotions and discounts, as well as the chance to win an expenses paid trip to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 in Las Vegas for six people.*

The Power Circuit is being run in partnership with industry-leading electronics fair, electronica 2012, and a complimentary ticket to the event will be issued to every customer that signs up.

Alan Paterson, Marketing Director, Europe commented:  "We have launched The Power Circuit as a way of thanking our customers for continuing to choose Farnell element14.  The scheme, which we have initially rolled out in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Switzerland, is proving to be really successful with our customers with 9 out of 10 registered customers already actively engaged with the programme. This is the first of a number of tailored initiatives and programmes that rewards our customers, delivers greater value and makes their lives easier.

"The programme's sporting theme was inspired by three remarkable para-athletes – David Stone, Nurulasyiah Mohammad Taha and Sam Kavanagh – that we have had the pleasure of supporting for the last two years. Their drive and determination to compete in London 2012 was a key factor in the thinking behind The Power Circuit and we are delighted to be able to offer customers the opportunity to donate to David Stone's training to continue this support."

The programme will run until 30th November 2012 (31st January in Switzerland). Visit www.thepowercircuit.com to register and find out more.
