NEPCON South China 2012 Set to be Held in Shenzhen

May 29, 2012

As the world's largest manufacturing hub and export center for the electronics information industry, South China is also critical for application demands in the SMT and electronics manufacturing industries. Experts estimate that the annual demand for electronics equipment assembly in Shenzhen and along the Pearl River Delta currently stands at over RMB 300 billion (USD 47.3 billion).

Home to thousands of mobile phone, automobile, digital IT, packaging and printing companies, South China covers electronics manufacturing's entire industry chain.  The country's most influential trade event in the region, NEPCON South China, will again highlight this in 2012.
The show will feature the most advanced SMT equipment and state-of-the-art technologies, as well as test and measurement, soldering, electrostatic discharge (ESD), electronics manufacturing automation, machine vision (MV), tool and robot sectors.  Local and international emerging technologies, products and solutions, in both SMT and electronics manufacturing, will be demonstrated on-site across a massive 38,000 sqm.
NEPCON South China is expected to attract over 500 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions.  Additionally, over 28,000 industry elites and buyers will take part in the show to exchange technical information on current and upcoming manufacturing solutions.

Featuring over 1,000 types of electronics manufacturing equipment, test & measurement devices and components, the show will give visitors a sharp insight into the most advanced electronics manufacturing equipment and cutting-edge electronics manufacturing technologies.
The concurrently run ATE China 2012 will feature a comprehensive array of advanced electronics assembling and packaging equipment.  The show will also highlight technological solutions, to satisfy assembly and manufacturing demands.  It will also be ideal for sourcing new suppliers.  These are efficient methods of sharpening competitive edge within electronics manufacturing.

Driven by new technologies, the electronics manufacturing industry continues to develop rapidly.  At the same time, manufacturers remain under severe pressure from rising operating costs (particularly for labor).  Therefore, highly effective and flexible industrial automation solutions are gaining in popularity along the entire manufacturing chain. During NEPCON South China 2012, automated solutions will be vigorously promoted.  Robots, motion control equipment, automated machinery, accessories, conveyors, tools, packaging equipment, materials, quality control devices and laser equipment will all be prominently featured.

To ensure that NEPCON South China 2012 is a robust trade platform that gives exhibitors the maximum return, the organizers will use diverse channels — including direct mail, telemarketing, advertising, media interviews, road shows, promotions and online marketing — to attract targeted buyers with purchasing intent.  This will allow exhibitors to generate lucrative commercial opportunities directly from the exhibition.
NEPCON South China 2012 will run from August 28 to August 30, 2012 at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.  The show will be collocated with ATE China 2012.
