In this roundtable filmed during last week's Nepcon China event in Shanghai, Philip is joined by Visocm's Volker Pape, ERSA's Bernd Schencker and SIPLACE's Günter Lauber to discuss the value of products, equipment and services engineered in Germany.
The group discuss what the term 'Engineered in Germany' means to them and
their customers, how it might add value and be used to promote companies, such as contract manufacturers in Asia, the importance of continuous improvement and new developments as well exploring why German engineering is at the pinnacle world-wide.
The panel also explore whether the value of iconic engineered brands like Porsche, Mercedes or Siemens has added value to their penetration in areas like Asia.
