Last weeks OKI webinars on Convection and Conduction rework attracted hundreds of registrations from all over the world.

In reworking SMT components, many methods are used, but most often, the technology with the fastest speed is chosen as the method of repair. Many rework processes involve both convection and conduction tools for repair, one is used for removal and a different tool used for replacement.

Different devices demand different processes and safety; however, temperature of the component and reliability thereafter are often not included in the tool selection method. Often an operator is given very basic tools and asked to repair many different devices. This can lead to dangerous practices and quality is often compromised.

Ideal for Operations Managers, Production Line Supervisors, Engineering Management, Engineers and Assembly Operators, the OK International webinar presents one of the industry's leading technical experts, Ed Zamborsky, who explains best practice rework techniques and tools that will benefit a variety of end users in different industry segments.

The presentation is followed by a lively Q&A session.
