Techcon Systems Announces Solutions for Aerospace Industry

Techcon Systems is pleased to announce that its plastic adhesive tools are ideal for smoothing sealants and adhesives for many aerospace applications. With sealant scrapers manufactured from Celcon®, and spatulas from glass-filled Nylon, these unique tools guarantee not to damage delicate substrates found in the aerospace industry.

The TS1275-4 Celcon® Scraper has a convenient 0.75" (19mm) working area and is  ideal for scraping sealants off of areas requiring rework or tidy-up. Such areas include the exterior pressurized fuselage skin, such as lap joints, butt joints, antenna cutouts, wing-to-body fairings, and around window forgings. For user comfort, the scraper side edges have been smoothed off. A hanging-hole located at the handle end allows the scraper to be easily stored away when not in use.

Techcon's TS1275-KP Spatulas are available individually, or in a three-piece kit. The spatulas can be used for a wide range of tasks, including smoothing and scraping adhesives, as well as mixing multi-component adhesives. Each end of the spatula is equipped with a molded head so that a variety of applications can be performed without the need to change tools.
