The Multitest ProWorks Experience

Jan 26, 2010

ProWorks, a division of Everett Charles Technologies and developer and manager of print and electronic work instructions, announces that Multitest uses ProWorks' technologies to improve its quality, costs and cycle time.

Multitest is a test equipment supplier for the semiconductor industry. This industry has a reputation for demanding high-quality equipment and short lead times to react to constant market fluctuations.

To improve its process quality, Multitest implemented ProWorks in 2003 for its internal manufacturing operation. "Very soon the benefits of ProWorks became obvious and we expanded ProWorks to include our worldwide manufacturing facilities and supplier base," said Dipl. Ing. (FH) René Altmann, Head of Quality and Manufacturing Engineering at Multitest.

ProWorks has become essential in helping Multitest maintain control of its manufacturing processes in each of its facilities. According to Altmann, it also has enabled the company to ramp up production capacity as fast as the market requires, without sacrificing product quality.

"ProWorks is vital in supporting our continuous improvement targets in terms of quality, costs and cycle time," said added Altmann. "We could not run this business without it."
