Jan 25, 2010

Qual-Pro announced it has appointed Richard Fitzgerald as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Reporting to Qual-Pro's CEO, Brian Shane, Fitzgerald will be responsible for managing the company's manufacturing, engineering, procurement and planning organizations.

An internationally recognized manufacturing and business leader, Fitzgerald brings more than 20 years of technology and management experience to Qual-Pro.

"We are tremendously excited to have Rich join us. His experience and exceptional track record of leading much larger manufacturing organizations will be instrumental in our growth plans", said Shane. "Having someone of Rich's caliber join our talented manufacturing team will help us continue to deliver quality products faster and at lower cost."

Fitzgerald brings with him a wealth of industry experience. He most recently was CEO of Team Precision, a Thailand-based Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) provider with 1,400 employees and operations on three continents. Before Team Precision, Rich was the Global Vice President of Operations for CTS Corporation, a $700 million EMS provider. In that capacity, he managed 1,750 people across nine facilities. Rich has also held operations and manufacturing positions at Cal Amp and Intel. Rich spent 12 years serving the United States in the Marine Corps.

"I am excited to join the Qual-Pro team. They posses the commitment to quality and dedication to continuous improvement that are the foundation of every great company. We will build upon that foundation to develop new areas of expertise so that we can support new markets and grow the business. We are a terrific match", said Fitzgerald.
