Nu Horizons expands Micrel franchise to global

Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. (NASDAQ: NUHC), a global distributor of advanced technology semiconductor, display, illumination, power and system solutions; announced that it has extended its distribution agreement with Micrel Inc., (NASDAQ: MCRL) to the United Kingdom (UK), marking the start of a global rollout of this franchise to cover all of Nu Horizons' sales territories. 

Nu Horizons already distributes Micrel products in North America, Asia and Germany. Micrel is a leading manufacturer of high performance analog, mixed-signal, RF, communications and power ICs for computing and networking applications.

Bob Filiault, Director of Worldwide Channel Sales at Micrel comments that "Nu Horizons has proven itself with Micrel in many regions. The expansion of our relationship builds on our mutual success in key territories. Nu Horizons' engineering, technical sales and marketing resources are second to none and this global agreement will bring that design-in and technical expertise to our customers in the UK."
