Agile reports Q1 results - record revenues

Agile Software Corporation (Nasdaq: AGIL) announced results for the first quarter of fiscal 2006, which ended July 31, 2005. Total revenues for the quarter were $34.4 million, a 30% increase from the $26.5 million recorded in the first quarter of fiscal 2005. License revenues for the first quarter of fiscal 2006 were $13.4 million, compared to $10.3 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2005, representing a 30% increase. Net loss for the first quarter of fiscal 2006, on a GAAP basis, was $3.3 million, or ($0.06) per share, compared to $3.0 million, or ($0.06) per share for the first quarter of fiscal 2005. Non-GAAP net loss for the first quarter of fiscal 2006 (which excludes stock compensation and amortization of intangible assets) was $1.2 million, or $(0.02) per share, compared to a non-GAAP net income (which excludes stock compensation, amortization of intangible assets and restructuring) of $299,000, or $0.01 per share, for the first quarter of fiscal 2005.
