Isola announces IS640

Isola has announced IS640, the latest in their family of low-loss materials designed to maintain signal integrity in high frequency applications.IS640 is characterised by a very low Df, which changes only fractionally, from .0045 to .0048, for frequencies all the way from 2Gz up to 10Gz. In this frequency range, Dk remains between 3.3 and 3.4 for a 2116-type construction. IS640 claims to be cost-effective and user-friendly. Available in regular pre-preg styles, it is compatible with Isola's IS410, FR406 and FR408 materials and can be processed on conventional FR4 equipment.Source: PCBnewsline
