Shenzhen - The Spearhead of Southern China's Electronics Industry
China's electronics manufacturing industry currently ranks the 3rd largest in the world and it's reputed as the "World's Factory".

For the past 10 years, Pearl River Delta has pioneered the industry and has been positioned as the most important electronics manufacturing hub in China. It contributes an average production value of 300 billion (RMB) annually. 20 top-notch electronics companies among the top 100 industry players in China are located in this region, and 90% of them are in the scope of electronics manufacturing. Out of which, over 90% of the manufacturers for computer and the peripheral products congregate in the Shenzhen and Donggun areas.

South China is not only an ideal manufacturing hub which attracts many world's leading electronics manufacturers, but it also presents a gateway to the huge potential electronics market in China. According to Ministry of Information Industry (MII) of P.R. China, 80% of chips are imported from Shenzhen, and at the same time, 80% of the electronics consumption capacity in the Pearl River Delta is from Shenzhen. More than 1,500 production plants for computer, stored-program control exchange and televisions are also in Shenzhen.

350 Companies are exhibiting at the event, from 21 countries taking more than 22,500 square meters of exhibiting area.  The event attracted more than 18,000 high quality visitors.  The 11th presentation of Nepcon South China / EMT South China will be the biggest ever event, increased by 50% from last event.
