FocalSpot's Verifier HR introduced to European market

FocalSpot, Inc. (www.focalspot.com), a provider of SMT Inspection and Rework equipment for the electronics manufacturing industry, has announced the début of its Verifier HR X-Ray Inspection System into the European market. FocalSpots's European master distributor X-Axys and representatives Detech and PrimeOption were able to first demonstrate the precision of this cost-effective x-ray inspection solution at NEPCON UK 2005, just two short months ago and since then multiple orders have been placed. The Verifier HR is an affordable high-resolution x-ray system designed to address a broad range of failure analysis and manufacturing/rework quality assurance applications. The Verifier HR provides fast intuitive inspection of PCBs up to 16 inches x 18 inches (400mm x 457mm). A 90kV, 5-micron x-ray source supplies more than enough power to penetrate challenging shielded packages, while the high-definition imaging train provides >650X magnification for ultra clear inspection of nearly microscopic interconnections. The Verifier HRs' small 32 inch by 34 inch (813mm x 864mm) footprint design allows the system to be easily rolled to wherever needed.
