Industry's largest SMTA-certified staff at Indium

Jun 27, 2005

Adrian Low, Technical Engineer for Indium Corporation, is the 9th engineer at Indium Corporation to receive certification by the SMTA, giving Indium Corporation the largest SMTA-Certified engineering staff in the industry.

Adrian is located in Singapore and joins an esteemed group at Indium Corporation which includes Ronald C. Lasky, PhD and Senior Technologist; Tim Jensen, Pb-Free Product Manager; Karl Pfluke, Regional Sales Manager (USA); Kelvin Ho, Technical Manager (Singapore); Karthik Vijayamadhavan, Technical Support Engineer (USA); Ivan Castellanos, Technical Support Engineer (Mexico); David Sbiroli, Senior Technical Support Engineer (USA); Sehar Samiappan, Technical Engineer (Malaysia).

In addition to providing on-site support and consultations for Pb-Free evaluations and implementations, Indium's SMTA-certified engineers provide advice on alloy selection and applications, solder properties, flux and alloy compatibility and selection of solder fabrications.

SMTA Certification has become the electronic assembly industry's most respected sign of process excellence. While other programs certify specific areas of the electronics assembly process (i.e. rework and repair) the SMTA program is the only one to recognize and certify the entire SMT assembly process at an engineering level.
