Valve utilises radio frequencies Electro-chemical manufacturer Electrolube has announced it is supplying Schrader Electronics with a new potting resin for use in its Smart Valve remote tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The new valve uses radio frequencies to inform a vehicle’s operator of tyre pressures, and is said to be the first device of its kind. While developing the resin, Electrolube had to fulfil requirements including protecting the circuit from vibration, temperature extremes and adverse conditions. Source: PCBnewsline
