Newport`s APAS facility achieves ISO 9001 registration

Newport Corporation has announced that the company's Chandler, Arizona facility has achieved ISO 9001 registration. The facility, which is part of Newport's Advanced Packaging and Automation Systems Division (APAS) completed its initial assessment of conformance to ISO 9001:1994, and the British Standards Institution (BSI) consequently recommended registration of the facility's quality system.Newport believe that this achievement will significantly advance the competitiveness and unmatched quality of its photonics packaging technologies.
