Foxconn February sales slid 22.2%

Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry), posting a second consecutive month of sales decline, saw its revenues fall 22.2% month-on-month to NT$16.8 billion in February, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News.This is the first time in eight months that Foxconn’s monthly sales have fallen below NT$20 billion. The company cited seasonal effects as weakening revenues for desktops and game consoles but said it expects the sales dip to be temporary, reported the newspaper.The company’s January revenues, at NT$21.6 billion, were down 25% from December.Source: DigiTimes
