Ashling and IAR team up to launch ARM development kits

Ashling Microsystems and IAR Systems, two providers of embedded software development tools, have announced that they have joined forces to produce ARM development kits. IAR’s Embedded Workbench Integrated Development Environment is combined with the emulators and evaluation platforms from Ashling to provide a complete toolset for ARM development. By opting for the development kit, users are assured of an integrated solution that works straight out of the box. The kit contains Ashling ARM evaluation board, Ashling ARM emulator with a USB interface to the host PC, IAR embedded workbench for ARM containing integrated development environment, C/Embedded C++ compiler and assembler, linker, and librarian.Users can choose between the Ashling Pathfinder Debugger and the IAR C-SPY Debugger.Ashling believe they can provide the ARM developers community with a proven, cost-effective and market leading package.Source: PCBnewsline
