Spemco sign £1 million acquisition deal
Nov 26, 2002
62 jobs in UK saved Spemco has announced the acquisition of Southern Circuits. This acquisition follows that of Argos Electronic Circuits in 1998 and Camplasco Electronics, which were said to have considerably diversified Spemco’s product portfolio, and increased manufacturing capacity and turnaround times. The new acquisition means that Spemco now have four PCB manufacturing sites offering different technologies, which they believe will enable them to hone a service suited to specific customer requirements. The acquisition has also secured 62 jobs in the Hampshire area, which would have inevitably been lost, a bleak prospect in the lead up to Christmas. Source: PCBnewsline
