Dow announces price increase

Dow Wire & Cable Compounds, a global business unit of The Dow Chemical Company, has announced a $.05 per pound increase on all its wire and cable compounds and resins sold in North America. The price increase is effective April 1, 2003 and is in addition to the $.06/lb. increase that was previously announced on January 24th. With annual sales of $27 billion, Dow serves customers in more than 170 countries and a wide range of markets, including food, transportation, health and medicine, personal and home care, and building and construction, among others.
