Ericsson praise Cookson`s AccuFlex

Ericsson Amplifier Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of linear power amplifiers, has announced that it has been successfully using the MPM AccuFlex from Cookson Electronics Equipment at its Hauppauge, NY manufacturing site since June 2002. The stencil printer is producing amplifiers that are used in cell sites nationwide.Since installing the system, Ericsson Amplifier Technologies, has reported a 40 percent drop in the need for board touch-ups. Ericsson has reported that the stencil printer is efficient and requires less manual labor, such as manual hand soldering. In addition, they did not need to provide any specialized training when the MPM AccuFlex went online, and operator attention is only needed to refill materials.Source: PCBnewsline
