BenQ's December consolidated revenues down 17.7% from November

BenQ on January 6 announced consolidated revenues of NT$12.0 billion for December 2004, dropping by 17.7% from November, 2004. BenQ anticipates increasing competition in the IT industry and, as a consequence, narrowing profitability in 2005, according to company controller and spokesperson Alex Liou. However, the company is well poised to face the challenge based on a G4P (growth for profit) strategy of balancing business growth and profitability, Liou said. Source: Digitimes
