Advanced Circuits to end 2004 with just 79 late shipments
Dec 21, 2004
Advanced Circuits has announced that it shipped 79 orders late during 2004, a reduction of 58 percent over 2003. This represents a tiny fraction of the tens of thousands of orders shipped on time or even early last year. In the quick-turn business (where 60% of orders are shipped in three days or less), the company takes a leadership position by shipping nearly half its orders early. "Timing can be crucial to the designer waiting on a prototype PCB," said John Yacoub, president of Advanced Circuits. "Our high customer retention and referral rates are a result of our ability to always deliver product on time." Advanced Circuits' completely revamped website, launched in October, provides online quoting, order tracking and DFM checks as well as other convenient information and services for customers. "We have continued to be profitable in an unpredictable industry for 13 years in a row by paying close attention to the wants and needs of our customers," stated Yacoub. "With the launch of our new website, we plan to continue this upward momentum into the new year."
