Rheinmetall deploys Agile PLM

Agile Software Corporation has announced that Rheinmetall has successfully deployed the Agile e5 PLM solution, enabling the company to streamline their product development processes and to ensure that their products meet quality and compliance standards. "Using a rigorous benchmarking process, we evaluated several vendors' PLM offerings before deciding that the Agile e5 PLM solution was by far the most flexible and therefore most capable of meeting our needs," said Hartmut Hahn, CIO, Rheinmetall Land Systems division of Rheinmetall Defense Technologies (Rheinmetall DeTec AG). "Rheinmetall serves a global military customer base, and Agile PLM plays a vital role in ensuring that our products are developed on-schedule and to precise customer specifications, while meeting stringent quality and compliance standards."
