Awarded for employee newsletter/web site category Palomar Technologies hasannounced it has received the 2002 Inspire Award from the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) for its electronic employee newsletter, the Bonders News Network. The LACP supports and recognizes excellence in the practice of professional communications. More than 300 entries were submitted for the LACP's annual employee newsletter/web site competition. LACP identified winners within peer-level competition classes. Scores were derived according to a proprietary judging system developed by LACP, which assigns point values to various criteria of an entry. The Bonders News Network is an internal electronic employee newsletter produced by Tricia McGough, Palomar's marketing communications specialist. The newsletter is distributed quarterly and includes announcements about new products, events, resources, quality assurance and company news. "Our electronic newsletter has been an excellent tool to keep our employees and business partners informed and connected," said Bruce Hueners, vice president of marketing. "This is especially important as we have an international sales and support team with offices in more than 16 countries, including Europe and Asia." Source: PCBnewsline
