South Korea PC shipments expected to grow 8.7% this year

According to the Korea Economic Daily, South Korea’s top six brand vendors – Samsung Electronics, TriGem Computer, LGIBM, HP Korea, Hyunju Computer and Jooyontech Computer – shipped 2.71 million PCs last year, down 7.5% from 2001.The vendors expect shipments will grow only 8.7% to 2.95 million units this year, due to the slow economic recovery.Source: DigiTimes
