Frost & Sullivan honors Lewis and Clark Inc.
Oct 22, 2004
Lewis and Clark Inc., has become the recipient of the 2004 Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value Enhancement, thanks to conducting business to a high standard. Not only does the company match buyers and sellers of pre-owned equipment worldwide, it offers the same values and services customers expect when purchasing the equipment new from an OEM (Original Equipment Market) vendor. Such value added services include: asset management of excess systems; plant liquidations; reconditioning; installation; field service and training; and assistance in leasing and finance. "Frost & Sullivan's Customer Value Enhancement Award is presented each year to those companies that best demonstrate the ability to generate more innovative value creation and enhancement strategies than competing vendors," explains Raman Monga, Frost & Sullivan research analyst. "Despite sluggish economic conditions in the electronic manufacturing industry," Monga says, "Lewis and Clark's superior knowledge of pre-owned manufacturing assembly and test equipment, coupled with its wide breadth of services, has helped the company increase its installed base in the industry."
