Asymtek/Nordson B.V. holds “Europe Technology Days” in Netherlands

Asymtek/Nordson B.V. and industry partners recently hosted their second annual "Europe Technology Days" in Maastricht, the Netherlands at the Hotel Chateau St. Gerlach.

The two-day workshop, held 22-23 September, featured a conformal coating day and a dispensing and plasma treatment day.  Industry leaders presented the latest developments in conformal coatings, dispensing and plasma treatments from both material and equipment perspectives.  Over 100 people attended the event.

Attendees reported the sessions were very informative, well organized and offered valuable knowledge of today's leading edge technologies. "I enjoyed the hands-on learning experience in a beautiful setting," stated one participant, "and I definitely plan on attending next year."

Day one - Conformal Coating Day - included presentations and live equipment demos from Concoat Ltd., Asymtek, Dow Corning, Lackwerke Peters and Beck Electrical Insulations.  Topics included guidelines for protecting electronics with coatings, changing technologies and how to select, cure, and apply materials.

Day two - Dispensing and Plasma Treatment Day - featured presenters from Emerson & Cuming, Henkel Loctite, March Plasma, RMC-Tech, Barco Surface Mounting and Asymtek.  Live equipment demos included jetting, lead free soldering, board assembly applications, and plasma technology.
