Sericut Europa unveil new product

Spain-based Sericut Europa S.L. has announced the introduction of a single-sided aluminum PCB with "Lumiled" power LEDs, which they claim will help create customized solutions. A single-sided aluminium PCB serves as the circuit carrier, while an externally installed radiator box warms derivative carriers. During testing of this aluminium conductor plate, it was proven that the entire circuit carrier with 12 power LEDs "settles down" at a temperature of 50°C. Sericut allege that it is possible, using Lumileds LEDs, to ensure a perfect warming removal with the use of aluminium conductor plates. From this success, there is the possibility that with a limited number of LEDs, capacity is minimized and exceeds a luminous efficiency of up to 1,000 lumens—the highest-known brightness by far to date, the company said.Source: PCBnewsline
