Data Circuit Systems selects Microcraft Flying Probes
Sep 17, 2004
Data Circuit Systems, Inc. has purchased and installed two EMX 6151 Flying Probe test systems from Microcraft. The company's test department now operates five flying probes 24 hours a day and offers substantially increased throughput, capacity, and advanced test technology.
The new EMX 6151 systems are Microcraft's most contemporary test offering. The machines provide advanced performance features to meet the reliance on fine pitch design and increasing test density. Each test system exceeds 3000 test points per minute. The Microcraft automated test probes are capable of touching 2 mil pads on 4 mil pitch. Buried resistance can also be verified on the new systems. For more information regarding Microcraft's test technology see their website at www.microcraft.jp.
Data Circuit Systems' capital plan for 2004/2005 includes a vast array of equipment and automation systems intended to increase throughput and capacity with a continuous emphasis on improved quality and yields.
