Dage to exhibit new Xidat system at ATExpo
Sep 24, 2004
Dage has announced it will exhibit its new XiDAT XD7500 digital x-ray system for PCB assembly technologies at ATExpo on booth 5811. Dage Precision Industries claims to have once again set the mark for PCBA X-Ray Inspection Technology, with the XiDAT XD7500. Formally introduced at Assembly Technology Expo, September 28-30 (Rosemont, IL), the XD7500 has a new look and a new manipulator design providing oblique angle views of up to 70-degrees for any position 360-degrees around any point of the entire 18" x 16" (458 x 407 mm) inspection area. This precise manipulation allows the XD7500 to inspect interconnections on BGA and CSPs - literally all area array devices. Adding to its new approach to x-ray technology, Dage has also introduced and incorporated into the XD7500, a revolutionary new 'filament-free,' maintenance-free x-ray tube, the Dage NT950. The new tube provides feature recognition to 950 nanometers.
