New appointment at Three-Five Systems

Three-Five Systems, Inc. has announced that it has named David A. Prunier as Senior Director and General Manager of the company's new product introduction (NPI) and medical manufacturing facility in Redmond, Washington. Prunier, (43), is an accomplished operations management professional with 23 years of high technology contract manufacturing experience. He joined TFS in September 2003 as Senior Director for the company's Medical Products business, which is expected to obtain its Class 3 medical manufacturing certification in the third quarter of this year. Prior to joining TFS, Prunier held multiple management posts. Most recently, he was General Manager for the Seattle, Washington site operations of Plexus, a $900 million contract manufacturer. Prunier's career also includes senior operations management roles at smaller contract manufacturers, including Applied Technical Service Corporation in Bothell, Washington, and Dowty Microtechnologies and Parlex Microelectronics, both in New England. Jack Saltich, President and CEO of TFS said, "Dave has made significant contributions at TFS through his leadership of our entry into Class 3 medical manufacturing in the short time he has been here. I look forward to the contributions that Dave will make toward increasing our efficiencies and supporting our growth at the Redmond operation."
