Kester introduces Lead-Free Connection newsletter

Kester has announced a new quarterly newsletter designed to ease the transition to lead-free for both customers and the industry. Titled Lead-Free Connection, the first issue will be mailed to subscribers this month. Subsequent issues of the newsletter will be e-mailed to subscribers. Additionally, hardcopies will be available at special events, such as trade shows, conferences and more. The mission of this informative newsletter is to bring the most useful, up-to-date and reliable lead-free information to readers. This includes, but is not limited to, valuable process information, technical lead-free articles pertinent to current assembly issues and tech tips to help achieve solid lead-free processes. Additionally, the newsletter features contributions from industry leaders to provide readers with the most current key issues facing the electronics manufacturing industry. The provided content is practical, technical and insightful for process engineers. In the first issue, technical feature articles and resources are provided by industry experts on topics key to the transition to lead-free. The second issue, scheduled to hit subscriber inboxes in October, will focus on Lead-Free Alloy Selection, Selecting Lead-Free Flux Chemistries, Surface Finishes and Solderability, SMT Process Optimization, Avoiding SMT Lead-Free Defects, Reworking Lead-Free BGAs, and much more.
