BTU International announces $1.7 Million order from Jurong

Pyramax systems selected for critical reflow solder applications at Jurong Hi-Tech facilities throughout the Asia/Pacific region BTU International, Inc. (Nasdaq NM: BTUI) announced the receipt of a $1.7 million order from Jurong Hi-Tech. The order is for multiple Pyramax 98N and the recently-introduced Pyramax 150 X5 reflow solder systems that will be installed in Jurong Hi-Tech manufacturing facilities throughout the Asia/Pacific region. Jurong Hi-Tech is a division of Jurong Technological Industrial Corporation Ltd (JTIC), which is a leading electronics contract manufacturer serving the OEMs in the computer peripherals, networking and telecommunications sectors. Jurong Hi-Tech has manufacturing facilities in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Indonesia. "This very significant order reinforces BTU's leadership position within the global EMS industry," said Mark R. Rosenzweig, president and CEO of BTU International. "Jurong Hi-Tech has been a BTU customer for many years, and now we have formed a long-term strategic partnership with them."
